Maëlenn Aufray
I'm an associate professor in the CIRIMAT lab and ENSIACET engineer school.
My research interests are mainly in adhesion and adherence in polymers, adherence tests, physical, chemical and mechanical properties of interphases.
Adherence study in the CIRIMAT laboratory
- Cross-cutting scientific theme: adherence;
- TACCOS: Toulouse Adhesion Cohesion / Structural Adhesive Bonding.
Habilitation
I defended my Habilitation (in french "habilitation à diriger des recherches") entitled "Interphases formation and their influence on adherence in painted and glued systems" (in french "Formation des interphases et influence sur l'adhérence dans les systèmes collés ou peints") the 24th May 2023.Ongoing projects and news
- Amine-METal Interphase in epoxy adhesive SysTems (AMETIST) is a project granted by the French National Research Agency (ANR).
- Understanding the mechanisms of interphase formation in anodized aluminium/paint systems (COCA) is a project granted by the Institute for Technological Research into Materials, Metallurgy and Processes (IRT M2P).
- Functionalized and adherent biomimetic apatite coating for PEEK implants (Ca-PEEK) is a project granted by the French National Research Agency (ANR).
- superimposed mechanical-environmental ageing of polymeric hybrid laminates (CDL-AGE POL ) is a project granted by the Christian Doppler Forschungsgeshellschaft (Austrian association).
- The Influence of epoxy-amine/metal interphase formation on adherence in painted and glued systems : an experimental and numerical approach is a PhD project granted by The Chimie Balard Cirimat Carnot Institute. The thesis was defended on November 2023 by Zineb Fritah.
- Adherence and interphases in glued systems and multi-materials (in french), presented during the Adhesion Day.
